Quiltin' Time....Well it's time to talk QUILTS you two! Melyn - I'm probably not going to make you the same tricot temple quilt that I did for the first two marriages (mainly because my hands can't take it anymore - I will have it machine quilted to save time) But - I want you to give me your opinion of this idea...
I found a block for the Jordan River Temple that is pieced - looks pretty fun actually. I thought I could make four of these and place them on the four corners of a quilt. The inside would be other pieced blocks (just one style of block, or combination of 2-5 different ones) I thought it would look good assembled "on point" - if you don't know what that is, ask me. I could even put TWO different temples on the corners - Jordan River AND Mt. Timpanogos - but that might look too busy.
I'm putting a few ideas for blocks here to get you thinking. (These are NOT the colors they will be in - that's for you to decide - or let me decide if you don't care...) I have a book with over 500 blocks - so it won't matter which you choose. Let me know what you think. But the BIG QUESTION is what COLOR(s) do you want???? (Just so you know - I want to make the JR temple background a blue color, instead of the light green shown in the picture...)
